Antonio Puig founded the company that bears his name in 1914 and form the very beginning it was dedicated to innovative, high quality perfumes, colognes, lipsticks and cosmetics. Antonio Puig married and had four children. In 1942 he moved his company to Barcelona where his children manage the business, which now includes Nina Ricci of Paris, Paco Rabanne and in 1980 an agreement with Carolina Herrera for the creation of perfume in her name.
