The tradition of Hollywood beauties endorsing perfumes and fragrances continues and many have endorsed, or licensed, perfumes to be made with their own names. 

The most successful is JENNIFER LOPEZ perfumes and fashion accessories line.   JLO GLOW perfume became a worldwide best seller when it was released.  Unlike most celebrities who simple “license” their name brands from perfume makers like Parlux perfumes, Jennifer Lopez went to Paris, France and had the French perfume maker COTY Perfumes.  Coty perfumes also make brands like Armani Perfumes, Acqua Di Gio, Emporio Armani and Armani Mania as well as Chopard Perfumes Casmir,   Casran,  and Chopard Madness perfume and Wish perfume all global best selling fragrances made by COTY Perfumes.  Coty perfumes remains in the top list of perfumers that have won International fragrances awards.  Other perfumes that are associated with the famous beauties of film and stage introduced the world to Yves Saint Laurent perfumes Opium, Paris eau Perfume and YVRESSE eau de Toilette. 

The fashion houses of Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent perfumes, Givenchy perfumes, Nina Ricci perfumes, Giorgio Armani perfumes, Escada perfumes and Fendi perfumes have all used celebrities to enhance recognition of their famous perfumes.  Nina Ricci perfumes Belles is an example and these perfumes were developed for the individual star’s preferences.  Perfumes made by Giorgio Armani, Escada and Fendi also came with free clothing to celebrities to wear to promote their names and fame.  Famous singers, like GALDYS NIGHT would introduce us to Cacharel perfumes LOU LOU eau de perfume and in New York the Divas of the Metropolitan Opera would make NOA perfume (woody and sensual) a popular choice in Society and other famous name is linked to opera singers and that is GUERLAIN PERFUMES of Paris with Samsara, Mahora, Mitsouko and world famous SHALIMAR perfume by Guerlain located on CHAMPS ELYSEES Boulevard (also the mane of one of their popular perfumes).  Guerlain is a well established family of famous French perfume houses, but the French press reported seeing members of the Guerlain perfume makers at the shop of ANNICK GOUTAL perfumes in Paris sampling her famous PASSION perfume, the French Guerlain families perfumer’s favorite is competitor Annick Goutal Perfumes, I guess that would be considered a recommendation for PASSION perfume. By the way Elizabeth Taylor also made a perfume named PASSION and a men’s perfume PASSION FOR MEN that remains a top selling men’s perfume colognes. Film star beauty CATHERIN DENEUVE would make L OR Perfume de TORRENTE a world renowned perfume just as the French newspapers made Emanuel Ungaro’s perfume SENSO famous by reporting that Catherine Deneuve had been seen buying Senso at his Paris haute couture shop. 

Ungaro perfume DIVA would also become a global fragrance best seller.  Catherine Deneuve, known for her good taste and elegance also is an aficionado of Mauboussin Perfume by exclusive Paris Jeweler Mauboussin and Paris Jewelry maker Boucheron perfume Boucheron.  She has also been seen in Herve Ledger’s haute couture buying HERVE LEGER Perfume. Other lesser known personalities like Lord in the Rings, fairy princess; LIV TAYLER would make the new Givenchy perfume VERY IRRESISTIBLE, very irresistible to millions of her fans.  Singer and movie actress CHER made Bob Mackie costumes and Bob Mackie perfumes famous before he started designing Barbie Dolls.  And this is probably a good place to mention Vera Wang the Hollywood darling of Wedding Dress designer and her top perfume Princess.
