Why I buy refurbished laptops and desktop business computers for the office
You buy a new laptop, or desk top computer, but when you open the package you find the laptop with a minor scratch at one of the corners. What do you do next? Obviously call your vendor and ask him for an exchange. The laptop you just refused cannot be sold as a new laptop. It goes back to the manufacturer where it is tested to meet the stringent quality criteria the manufacturer has for its products.

Aesthetics, wherever possible, is improved and then the machine is marketed-down as a cheap factory refurbished laptop. But what I really look for in a refurbished laptop is that I hope it had some kind of “warranty” issue and had to go back to the factory for reworking hardware.
