Hugo Boss was created in 1923 by Mr. Hugo Boss in Metzingen, Gernamy and it had little in common with the Hugo Boss AG of today, as the original company made worker clothiers, uniforms and raincoats. The German factory eventually became an internationally important with an expansion, which includes part ownership by the Italian Marzotto Group, which has Mr. Werner Baldessarini as chief designer.
