Jennifer Lopez was born on July 24, 1970 in New York's Bronx. Jennifer Lopez started at the Manhattan Dance Studio when she was 17, and it was not until 1997 that she got her really big break by being selected to play the lead in the film about the murdered singer Selena's life. After the film Jennifer decide to work on her singing career and her first album went platinum and her song"My Love Don't Cost A Thing" was an international hit.
