Kenzo was born in Himeji, Japan in 1939. He graduated from the Tokyo Bunka Gakuin fashion school and then moved to Paris, France in 1965. In 1970 Kenzo opened Jungle Jap Shop, then later changed the name to Kenzo. Kenzo is known for his special fabrics and haute couture as well as his Kenzo perfume, Kenzo Jungle perfume and colognes.
