Jeanne Lanvin was born in Brittany, France. Lanvin started her milliner store in Paris in the 1889 and by 1914 her Couturier house was well established with international clients. Lanvin dies in 1954 to be succeed by Antonio del Castillo, Dominique Morlotti, Jules Francois Crahay, MarryII Lanvin, Claude Montana, Patrick Lavoix and Christina Ortiz who have immortalized a very Parisian, elegant couture style.
