BCBG Max Azria, named for the French slang "Bon Chic Bon Genre" was created by Max Azria in 1981. Max Azria is a native to Paris, France. His wife Lubov Azria was born in Kiev, Ukraine in Russia were she studied ballet. Today they are the dynamic team that heads BCBG in Beverly Hills, California. BCBGirls by Max Azria has managed to reshape the fashion world by offering high fashion quality at contemporary prices. BCBG clothing, shoes, sun glasses, perfume and accessories have won many industry awards. Max Azria has been awarded a seat on the Fashion Designers of America and in 1995 he was named California Designer of the Year and in 1996 Atlanta Designer of the Year.
