Paco Rabanne was born Paco Rabaneda-Cuervo in San Sebastian, Spain in 1934. Paco Rabanne studied architecture at the Exole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where the family had moved as political refugees. His mother worked for Balenciaga. By 1960 Paco was supporting himself by selling sketches of fashion to Roger Model, Courreges, Cardin, Balenciaga, Charles Jordan, and Givenchy and in 1966 Paco Rabanne was created. Paco Rabanne is a master artis and his perfumes and colognes like XS and Calendre or Paco Rabanne Homme are examples of the attention to modernism and quality.
