Perfumer's Workshop Company was founded in 1973 by Donald and Gun Bauchner, as a personal perfumery. The company introduced "Tea Rose" in 1977 and it became an instant success and it has been nominated several times for the "Perennial Award" by the Fragrance Foundation. this was followed by Samba and Samba for Men, Samba Nova and Samba Natural as lines that were packaged outside of the personal fragrance blending.
