S. T. Dupont was born Simon Tissot Dupont in 1847 and he became the most important French leather goods and carriage maker in Paris as S. T. Dupont. In 1919 his sons Lucien and Andre Dupont would enlarge S. T. Dupont to include, gold smiths, silver work, ivory, crocodile skin and tortoiseshell. S. T. Dupont introduced very successful, luxury perfumes in 1998. Today S. T. Dupont continues to make fine accessories and perfumes but it is now part of Inter-Parfums along with Burberry and other fine luxury goods trade names. For more information about S.T.
