Yves Saint Laurent was born in 1936 in Oran, Algeria. He moved to Paris to study and by the time he was 18, Yves Saint Laurent was working under Christian Dior in Paris. Dior had a heart attach and by age 21, Yves Saint Laurent had to take over the Dior empire. Two years later Yves was drafted into the military and when he returned from military service, Yves with his partner Pierre Berge, set up his own design house. He was an instant success. Yves Saint Laurent perfumes are as famous as his clothes and they include Opium perfume, Paris perfume, Rive Gauche, Baby Doll as well as YSL M7, YSL Pour Homme and Opium for Men.
